Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Türkiye. On behalf of the Staff and indeed on my own behalf, I would like to extend to you our cordial greetings and best wishes.
Since the establishment of the Embassy in 2019, relations between Zimbabwe and Türkiye have grown from strength to strength, as evidenced by the exchange of high-level visits and fruitful political, economic, cultural, educational, health, and tourism cooperation.
The Embassy continues to promote the development of these relationships and people-to-people cooperation. Our website provides information on all aspects of our cooperation in investment trade, tourism, and consular services.
Since 2019, the Embassy has facilitated several businesspeople and government visitors, highlighting the strengthening of economic and trade relations.
2024 promises to be an exciting one as we work hard to broaden and deepen bilateral relations guided by the mantra "Zimbabwe is Open for Business" and the current emphasis on Economic and Transactional Diplomacy.
I work closely with the Government of Türkiye, businesspeople and individuals to realize His Excellency President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa's Vision: an Empowered Upper Middle-Income Economy by 2030, which Zimbabwe is on track to achieve. This Embassy places our Diaspora community at the centre of its activities under the theme "Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo" (The country is developed by its owners). I assure that we are there to assist and collaborate with the Diaspora in building a prosperous Zimbabwe. My door is always open to provide our Diaspora with the necessary consular services as well as sharing ideas and business opportunities back home.
